• Lead and mentor a team of dedicated Concierge staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Concierge desk, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services, including guest check-in/check-out, luggage handling, transportation arrangements, and more.
• Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to guests, reflecting an in-depth knowledge of local attractions, dining options, entertainment venues, and cultural experiences.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a synchronized guest experience, from pre-arrival to departure.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, manage guest requests promptly, and address any concerns with the utmost care and attention.
• Develop and implement training programs for Concierge staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and service excellence.
• Assist in managing guest feedback and reviews, utilizing insights to continually enhance the guest experience.

What you will be doing:

• This position is responsible for all maintenance issues within the Hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating projects.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with projects including repairs and replacement of plant and equipment including refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Manage contractor work requests, inductions and follow up on all work assigned.
• Assignment of daily tasks to engineering staff, to meet workload and business needs
• Implement systems to manage risk and environmental impact effectively.
• Train and develop members of the Engineering team.
• Prioritize job requests, assign tasks to team and follow up on completed jobs as required.
• Ensuring overall adherence to fire safety policies of Hot Works permits, Tag Out system, Material Safety Data Program, Confined Space program, CFC control program, Work Permit program.

Due to the rapid growth and success of our business, we're expanding our Tax services team in Sydney. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will supervise and mentor Junior and Business Services Accountants both in Sydney and offshore, to support a portfolio of small business customers, ensuring they have set their finances up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, allocate and review accounting work completed by junior members, all while fostering a supportive working environment
• Supervise and mentor a team of tax accountants, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Assist in tax compliance for individual and business clients, including reviewing tax returns, resolving any discrepancies, and optimising tax strategies
• Act as a primary point of contact for the Tax division, addressing inquiries, providing tax advice, and promoting strong client relationships
• Collaborate with senior management to assist in the development of tax planning strategies, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement best practices
• Conduct regular quality checks on tax filings to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations and company standards
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax-related issues, and provide recommendations based on findings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA / CA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with demonstrated expertise in individual and corporate tax
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in Xero (including Xero Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite
