Boratto Farms is a family-based business located in the Bacchus Marsh area specialising in growing leafy vegetables for the Australian market.
We are currently seeking two Horticulture Supervisors / Field Production Team Leaders to join our team.
Applicants should have two years experience in a similar position and a background of working in a market garden or other farming enterprise.
This role plays an important part in the operation of the farm and helps to ensure we supply a quality product to our customers and maintain a safe workplace.
You will have daily responsibility for a harvest crew. You will be responsible for training and monitoring your team. You will assist the Staff & Field Production Co-ordinator in various tasks including:
- Ensuring that policies for safety, food safety, quality and foreign object control are implemented and achieved by the harvest crew.
- Organising and managing a harvest crew to harvest crops in a safe, efficient manner, ensuring productivity and quality goals are met.
You will liaise with people at all levels of the business.
This is a full-time permanent position. The farm operates six days a week. Award wages will apply with a salary range of $53,900 – $58,000.
You must have good written and spoken English Skills.
A current car licence is required.
