SGS is seeking a full-time generalist HR Advisor for this 12-month parental leave cover commencing in April with the possibility to extend. This role will be located near Perth Airport and will be a hybrid role working in the office as well as the opportunity to work from home.

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will enjoy a true generalist position that includes administering and coordinating a range of HR activities including but certainly not limited to the below:

• Partner with assigned business/s to provide HR support for all stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of ER issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legislative requirements.
• Assist with the delivery of training and workshops to managers and employees on relevant HR policies, procedures, and legislative changes.
• Lead and support HR projects throughout the year aimed at improving processes, enhancing employee experience, and driving organizational effectiveness.
• Manage reporting and compliance activities with precision and expertise

Reporting directly to the General Manager and Director of Sales, this hands-on role is integral in leading the Food & Beverage operation to success. You will be responsible for multiple Food and Beverage outlets including Sen5es Restaurant & Bar, Fenians Irish Pub, Room service and Banquets. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the management of all outlets ensuring that revenue is maximised and costs are effectively controlled
• Completing regular departmental forecasts and deliver on financial targets
• Developing a strategic plan (in conjunction with the Executive Chef and General Manager) for the Food and Beverage operations to ensure long term profitability
• Conducting regular analysis on all outlets and operations to continuously improve productivity, quality, market competitiveness and service standards.
• Implement marketing plans for each outlet to maximise revenue opportunities
• Undertaking projects within the Hotel at the direction of the General Manager
• Implementing and maintaining operational and brand standards and procedures across all outlets.
• Leading team performance management and development.

A Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering the best customer experience that contributes to the store’s sales and profit. As a Sales Advisor, you’ll always put customers first, offer assistance and share your product and fashion knowledge. You’ll create an environment that is easy for customers to shop through store operations and great garment care. You will also share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build positive working environment. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide great customer experience. 
• Fold, hang, display and merchandise garments to maximise selling opportunities. 
• Actively process, stock and replenish garments on the sales floor and in the stock room. 
• Open, unpack and label merchandise with security tags. 
• Support customer purchases and returns in the register. 

About the Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy and Operations team, contributing to the organisational strategic direction and effectiveness by supporting the five Heads of Strategy to undertake analysis and coordinate strategy development and delivery processes.

The Strategy Analyst role will sit within the central strategy team but will be deployed to specific Focus Areas or Impact Missions to support peaks in demand. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, PMO and Planning, your day to day will include:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• At least 3 years of experience in environments such as management consulting, finance, and fast growing startups
• 1-2 years of experience managing people across multiple teams.

About the Opportunity

As Head of Strategy & Operations, you will contribute to overall organisational effectiveness by working closely with peers in the Strategy & Operations team and with senior leaders in Focus Area and Enabler teams to ensure strategic planning and operational processes are implemented effectively and efficiently.

You will facilitate Focus Area strategy development and partner with subject matter experts to drive the successful execution of Bodies of Work (BoW) aligned to that strategy. You will monitor progress and apply an impact measurement and learning approach to deliver maximum impact.

You may be allocated to a particular Focus Area (either Communities, Gender & Equality and Oceans) role on a temporary or long-term basis, based on the resourcing needs of the broader Strategy & Operations team. You may also play a central role and contribute to organisation wide Strategy & Operations workstreams, as required.
