Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, your role extends beyond simply overseeing front-of-house operations. Your mission is to foster team unity, promote cross-departmental engagement, and ensure the creation of unforgettable experiences for every guest. 

ALL about you:

• Previous experience in Front Office Management
• Full time flexible availability weekdays, weekends & public holidays
• Outstanding attention to detail, time management, strong organisation, excellent presentation & communication skills
• The ability to easily build rapport with team members and guests is essential
• An in-depth understanding of all Front Office operations, 4 and 5-star standards & procedures
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products – Tech Savvy
• Experience with a Property Management System (PMS), Opera desirable
• Must have unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia and hold an RSA

ALL about the role:

You will responsible managing Front Office operations including guest arrival and departure, room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, loyalty recruitment, and room profitability as well as:

• Confidence in communicating with guests and colleagues to ensure cohesive collaboration
• Conquer challenges alongside guests, transforming dilemmas into success stories through creative solutions
• Recruit, train, and mentor Front Office team members, nurturing their professional growth, and diligently monitoring their performance
• Adhere to WHS requirements, promptly respond to emergencies, and prioritise the safety of both guests and team
• Exhibit proficiency in accurately handling reservations, managing guest accounts, and analysing reports and data
• Closely monitor budgets, expenditure, and revenue to make informed operational decisions and achieve financial objectives

About the Opportunity

This is a six-month secondment or fixed term contract opportunity. Reporting to the Head of, Strategy, PMO and Planning, the Manager, Strategy Implementation Office plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the strategic change required by Minderoo’s 2030 strategy.

They will lead the Program Management Office function within Minderoo supporting the success of strategy implementation by:

• Facilitating stakeholder alignment and coordination.
• Delivering reporting that provides a forward view of change efforts and anticipates potential problems.
• Championing consistent approaches, tools, and systems to help teams collaborate and deliver more effectively.
• Contributing to change management planning and delivery.
• Establish common program and change delivery frameworks and tools, to improve quality of project execution, including contributing requirements to improve enabling technology.

Manage the Strategic Implementation Office

· Coordinate the Strategy Implementation Office, ensuring effective management of cross-functional strategic projects and priorities that enable the 2030 strategy

Deliver enterprise reporting

· Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to deliver (and continuously improve) Minderoo-wide Executive and Board reporting to support decision making.

In a Senior Contract Administrator role, you will have knowledge in:

• Working as part of a team and integrating with other project teams, commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, contractors and sub-contractors
• Monitoring, analysing, reporting and providing advice on commercial matters.
• Providing insight and advice on commercial and contract arrangements, financial forecasting, payments, contract management & controls, change management cashflow analysis and claims management.
• Strong understanding and experience with the Alliance contract model required.
• Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Provide and drive the direction of the strategic, operational and technical diagnosis of the client needs.
• Support client’s organisation and senior management in improving their capacity to develop and deliver major projects and programs efficiently and effectively.
