Permanent full time position, Mobile Support Team, Clarendon

Works rotating roster including some evening and weekend shifts
About the Role This is your opportunity to join a dynamic community mental health team operating under a recovery-oriented model of care, utilizing the Strengths Model of Case Management. The work can be difficult as the MST works with some of the most complex consumers in the service however the team is supportive and everybody helps each other. If you are interested in joining a team that has rejected the culture of blame, does not mind hard work and looks to work with consumers and family in a collaborative partnership model this may be a the job for you. You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients of the St. Vincent's integrated adult MHS and their carers, demonstrating excellence in discipline specific and recovery-focused case management skills. In addition to the clinical work a significant component of the role involves the development and maintenance of sustainable working partnerships with a range of other service providers both internal and external of the St Vincent's' Health organisation.
Work within the recovery orientated practice using Strengths Model of Care
Actively engage consumers in the planning, delivery and evaluation of STV services
Provide high quality clinical services to consumers and carers
Display active participation in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities
Display a high standard of clinical practice and professional conduct at all times, providing clinical support to other members of the treating team and within the broader mental health service
Working a seven day rotating roster
Classifications for this position will range from RPN Grade 3 NP81 - NP74 ($99,430 - $110, 432 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution
Division 3 or Division 1 Nurse with Psychiatric Endorsement from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
A minimum of at least 2 years post qualification clinical experience within Mental Health Services
Experience in the provision of assessment, discipline specific intervention and case management services to
Post-graduate qualifications in relevant area of specialty
A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation .
Current Victorian driver's license
Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

About the Clarendon Mobile Support Team St. Vincent's Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. The Clarendon Mobile Support Team provides ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who suffer with a serious mental illness and associated high level of disability in the City of Yarra. The multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recovery-focused Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice.
