Caffe e Cucina opened on August 16th 1988, with the aim of recreating the great restaurants in the most famous cities all over Italy. Since then, it has consistently achieved high acclaim in its contribution to the definition of "cafe culture" in Australia, originally introducing the concept of Italian hospitality in Melbourne.
Caffe e Cucina is now looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Supervising shifts;
Training new and current employees;
Maximising customer satisfaction and responding to customer complaints;
Creating schedules;
Tracking employee work hours and recording payroll data;
Appraising staff performance and providing feedback;
Interviewing and recruiting new employees;
Managing daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations;
Ensuring all cash-outs are completed correctly at the end of the day;
Maintaining safety and food quality standards;
Managing inventory;
Create reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses;
Controlling operational costs and finding ways to reduce waste;
Reviewing product quality and researching new vendors;
Finding creative solutions when issues arise;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager;
Strong management skills;
Excellent customer service and ability to manage compliant and queries;
Ability to multitask and maintain everything running smoothly;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
