PERSOLKELLY has partnered with a leading oil/lubrications manufacturer in Northern NSW in the hunt for their next senior manager to take their business into 2024 with corporate succession planning and global procurement nous. About the Role This key leadership position oversees all procurement and supply chain processes while liaising with the broader team of over thirty staff across NSW & VIC. Reporting to the Procurement Head AISEA and working closely with the SLT, this pivotal role will play a central part in refining and developing the strategic framework for all procurement functions.
Focus Areas of responsibility for this position will include:
Developing highly productive working relationships internally that promote a culture of continuous improvement and driving efficiencies.
Embed a culture of strategic cost management and cost leadership across all offices within the organisation.
Lead the strategy and execution and act as the key escalation point for reducing risk and accelerating delivery.
Oversee broader governance, assurance, learning and continuous improvement.
Develop external relationships with key stakeholders to promote efficiencies.
Develop and prioritise organisational plans, policy, change management and risk management activities.
About you To be successful in this role you should be a visionary leader that has clearly demonstrated experience in the strategic leadership of a substantial corporation, ideally within the oil/lubrication or petrochemical industries. More specifically you should have knowledge of EPC contract management, strong commercial prowess and knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and probity. You will be an agent of positive change who has experience of operating within a hybrid in-house and outsourced model. While tertiary and professional qualifications will be well regarded, this will be superseded by relevant Procurement experience.
