As our Partner Account Manager, you will win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned NEXTDC Partners as well as being responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner objectives.  

This opportunity will be to focus on both “selling to” ICT partners as well as “selling through” to end customers. You will develop appropriate strategies, business relationships, and work on the enablement of the assigned channel partners to achieve joint sales outcomes.   

You will be responsible for: 

• Ensuring right portfolio of partners for territory needs - both current and future. This may include development of new partners, as well as new business practices with existing partners 
• Defining and obtaining agreement from the partners for the overall partner strategy 
• Leading the overall engagement and relationship with named existing and new partners who are headquartered in your territory 
• Developing and managing the overall partner pipeline to drive growth through business development and marketing initiatives and assist in the closing of all sales business through your assigned channel partners including participation in joint customer meetings. 
• Working collaboratively with our functional areas such as Marketing, Engineering, Facilities, Service Delivery, Legal, Finance as necessary, to develop and execute strategies to meet your channel partners business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work closely with procurement and legal to ensure partnering agreements have the highest level of assurance along with a well-defined service level management and risk approach.
• Be responsible for managed services solutions across infrastructure, service management and cloud and that integrate people, process, technology into efficient solutions while building in flexibility and agility aligned to our customer needs.
• Ensure a frictionless experience for our customers by managing the operational aspects of partnering, closely monitoring the incident, change and problem management process and playing a pivotal role in reducing the likelihood of breaches in service level agreements.
• Lead the effort in sizing and migrating appropriate workloads to the cloud by driving application discovery and migration services with the aim of simplifying and reducing infrastructure run costs.
• Collaborate with digital and infrastructure teams to drive adoption of modern practices related to cloud adoption and DevSecOps practices.
• Develop and foster positive working relationships within the organisation.
• Ensure appropriate governance, frameworks, knowledge & capabilities are adhered to enable compliance with all regulatory standards & requirements aligning to risk appetite.
• Drive business value by collaborating with business, technology partners and suppliers to define infrastructure roadmap and strategy.
• Support risk, audit, and compliance activities.
• Ensure partnering contracts account for sound business continuity plans in compliance with regulatory obligations.

The Position:

The First Nations Australian Mentor is responsible for delivering excellent service to our First Nations clients and ensuring they feel engaged and valued while receiving a service from atWork Australia. The role includes assisting clients with activities to find sustainable employment including Job Search, connection with local services, talking to employers and support while in-work

The role will also be instrumental in the co-design of services for First Nations clients, ensuring that atWork Australia delivers a service that enables our First Nations clients to find and keep good work.

You will be working with a vibrant, collaborative and goals focused team of employment services professionals from diverse backgrounds, who are all seeking to have an impact in the diversity and inclusion space. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support atWork Australia leaders and HR teams to develop services for clients and employees
• Engage with First Nations clients throughout their time in service with atWork Australia, supporting them to overcome barriers to employment
• Engage with the local community to provide wrap-around services to First Nations clients
• Support Job Coaches, In-Work Support Coaches and Employer Engagement Consultants to work with First Nations Clients to find and keep good work
• Assist clients with access to their MyGov accounts and how to upload their job searching requirements.

What we're looking for

• Be an expert in education design and ensure that Canva’s library is a world leader in content that empowers primary and secondary educators with interactive learning materials that inspire and challenge learners – developing our next generation of critical thinkers.
• A highly experienced Graphic or Visual Designer and Creative Leader, we expect you to have a strong foundational craft knowledge in education design to oversee the design quality of partners, artists, and our in-house creative production. 
• Have extensive previous experience in the creation, curation and advocacy of education and interactive learning content in Digital Media. 
• A leader who is comfortable communicating, engaging with, and managing expectations of Canva leadership, organizational stakeholders, and growing, coaching and mentoring a team of creatively minded individuals who are passionate about education.
• A keen eye for what makes great design, and a passion for constructing meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
