Your new company Our client, a luxury brand who are regularly recognised for their work through numerous Design Awards and a prestigious clientele base, are looking to add a new member to their finance team. Located in Sydney's Inner West, your role as Finance Manager will be an integral part of a busy and successful team. Your new role Reporting to the CFO, you will have full responsibility and accountability for general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany balances and related financial information.
Assistance in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
Supervision and guidance of the Finance team, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
Preparation of monthly financial results including profit and loss and balance sheet information
Performance of monthly account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts & review of bank reconciliations
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Company credit cards employee expense claims & monthly commissions
Review and analytical report of gross margin by state
Review and analytical report of 3PL and international freight margin variances
Regular cashflow forecasting, including forecasting of weekly supplier payment commitments, payroll, statutory payments and lease commitments
Support in managing foreign exchange risk in accordance with the company's Development of FX Hedging policy
Maintenance of register of company property leases and insurances
Coordination of monthly BAS, Payroll tax and Workers Compensation returns
Coordination of annual audit and ASIC compliance
Annual FBT and tax return
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience leading a finance function.
CA or CPA qualified
High level of understanding of financial structure, compliance, and reporting requirements, ideally
working in a Supply Chain / Import / Export environment

Collaborative approach to define and deliver initiatives
Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
