About the Role

As a Technical Service and Sales Engineer with a designated territory, you’ll have direct responsibility for the success of our small machines product portfolio and you will have the trust and support of the executive team.

This exciting role comes with significant autonomy, empowerment, opportunity to develop plans and strategies, and the benefits of working within a successful team of passionate and credible professionals.

A large part of this role is creating and developing client relationships as well as managing and maximising existing ones.

You’ll be a commercially aware, professional, well versed in the skills required to drive and measure client loyalty, business growth and overall business performance.

You’ll represent an enviable, well-established product portfolio including TRUMPF hand tools and technology from JFY and possibly multiple others.

Our clients appreciate credible factory trained professionals to help them with their machinery technical support and advice on selecting new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have;

TRUMPF Factory Training in Hand Tools
You’ll have some experience or knowledge of capital equipment for the manufacturing industry and/or machine tools
Strong interpersonal skills; communicates well, is a quick learner, a team player and someone that is adaptable and willing to take and implement feedback
You’ll also be comfortable working with all levels from the executives, to business owners and production staff. Building credibility as a trusted advisor with influence
You’ll be familiar with or are passionate about the success of industrial markets
You’ll also understand engineering and/or the processes within manufacturing
You are highly organised and with exceptional time management skills
At least two years experience in similar role
