Beemart Enterprises Pty Ltd require a Fresh Produce Logistics Manager to join their team in Bundaberg, QLD.
The main responsibility for the incumbent will be to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of fresh produce produced, procured, supplied and distributed by our group. Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities include:
- Create and implement local policies and procedures relating to supply chain activities undertaken for and by Beemart Enterprises;
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and import strategies for fresh produce and services;
- Directing team members in their activities and supporting their performance and professional development;
- Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels to agreed regional targets;
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements;
- Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times;
- Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions;
- Preparing and implementing procurement plans to maintain required fresh produce stock levels at best cost to the business;
- Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements;
- Working with other business units and customers concerning requirements for outward bound fresh produce dispatch and associated logistical needs.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience.
This is a full time role working 38 hours per week. An immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
