• Liaison with clients on sample analysis requirements and other queries.  
• Provide monthly reports to clients and senior management.
• Manage priorities and monitor progress to ensure timeliness and quality of results. 
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and encourage enhancement of skills.  Maintain and update staff training records. 
• Provide regular management and quality reports. 
• Maintain SGS Quality Management System, ensure non-confirmations are registered and closed out in timely manner and management review meetings held.  
• Personal improvement to be able to contribute towards progression of the laboratory. 
• Responsibility for P&L whilst working within a defined budget.

Due to recent movement within our Front Office department, we have an opportunity for a Night Manager to join our Front Office management team. As part of a team of 4 x Assistant Managers, you will report directly to our Front Desk Manager.

This is a full-time position where you will be required to cover our overnight shifts working between 11pm till 7am, 5 days per week. Sponsorship for this position is available for the right applicant.

You will be based on the front reception and will be responsible for cross checking and balancing work completed during the day by all outlets. You will ensure the highest level of customer service and professionalism is offered at all times whilst maintaining accuracy and guest confidentiality.

A proactive attitude that translates to a high-performance mind set and an outstanding attention to detail is required for the role and you will have the opportunity to work within an award-winning Resort.

The role:

• Hold responsibility and accountability for the efficient operations of the Resort on the overnight shift.
• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Prepare briefing sheets for all staff, informing them of daily activities, group and VIP arrivals, as well as special requests.
• Check accommodation, making sure special requests are carried out accordingly.
• Assist guests with their luggage and be the first point of contact for all of our guests.
• Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

What will you be doing?

• Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team
• Supervise and monitor team members with true leadership ability that motivates the entire team.
• Take initiative to ensure all interactions with our guests are positive and productive.  
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation in absence of the General Manager/Senior Managers with a high level of customer service provided at all times.
• Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests/customers to reach a win-win situation.
• Ensure there is management support and presence visible on Front Desk and in the lobby during key times throughout the day.  
• Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests when needed.
• Respond to and coordinate emergency situations.
