BRICKFIELD HOSPITALITY GROUP is looking for experienced Assistant Venue Managers to join the team at 3 Wise Monkeys in Sydney NSW.
In this busy role, reporting to the Venue Operations Manager, you will help to take the lead in our busy venue whilst on shift, to ensure the service we offer to guests is above expectations every time. You will help lead a team of hospitality professionals and will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the venue.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- running a profitable & efficient operation
- leading & managing the front-of-house team
- developing & implementing superior service standards that consistently exceed guest expectations
- working with senior managers on business planning & staff motivation
- assisting managers & chefs with menu developments
- stock control & management including purchasing
- training, developing & coaching food & beverage staff
- succession planning programs that focus on staff development & progression
- financial management including cost control
- implementing systems & processes to ensure the smooth running of the various departments within the venue
- managing the reservations system including taking bookings, greeting & seating guests
- ensuring the business is compliant with health regulations & that WHS is a focus for all team members
Full-Time Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this position, you will need to have:
- hospitality management training/study
- at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- leadership & management skills
- excellent communication skills
- a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- strong business & financial acumen
- a drive & results-focused attitude
- comprehensive food & beverage knowledge
- the ability to motivate the team
- the ability to train & develop staff members
