Schiavello Construction (NSW) is a privately owned construction company currently undertaking new commercial projects across NSW. Schiavello Construction (NSW) is seeking an experienced and qualified Site Manager with the relevant commercial building work experience. Our preferred Site Manager should have a preferred background in construction to join our professional team on a full-time basis, working on proects in the CBD area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site operations from inception to completion, develop and execute construction plans, update construction schedules, and control variations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with Australian safety regulations.
Maintain effective communication and collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, designers, and authorities.
Ensure on-time project delivery and mitigate delays.
Provide monthly project and site updates and reports on project progress and performance.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the project’s success.
Experience & Attributes:
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on commerical projects.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and certifications to operate site equipment and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian safety standards, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to manage site workers and adhere to project deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
