About the Role

The Cybersecurity Engineer, will be a member of our Group Technology Cybersecurity team located in any Datacom office.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Cybersecurity sector and is looking to build a career in this space. You will have a solid understanding of networks, firewalls, proxies, SIEM, Endpoint controls, DLP concepts and technologies.

About the Role (your why)

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join us as a member of the Technical Services team, you’ll interact directly with clients and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You’ll be responsible for the support of server infrastructure, within contracted time frames and services level agreements. What you’ll bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approx. 2 years’ experience in a similar Mobility role. You will possess excellent knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS and Enterprise applications. MobileIron, Google admin, VMware WS1 (SEG, UAG, ENS) and/ or Microsoft Intune administration skills would be a huge advantage. You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

What you’ll bring

Desired Technical Skills:

• Ideally, hands-on experience with ATERNITY or similar products (e.g., Lakeside Systrack, Nexthink,).
• Proficiency in network and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis is highly preferable.
• Sound understanding of common application architecture frameworks, distributed mechanisms, and messaging components.
• Familiarity with IT methodologies for software deployment and change in enterprise settings.
• Programming skills in PowerShell, Python, C++, Golang, Rust, or similar languages.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of J2EE and/or .NET internals.

About the Role

The Endpoint Engineering team assists companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practises to follow and implement. The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience. What you will do

As a SOE Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM and Intune
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration
• Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments
• Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune/SCCM)
• Experience with Packaging desktop applications and configure them for streamlined deployment
• Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues
• Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team
