The purpose of this role is to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of our platform, through domain driven design and continuous deployment of high quality software code and help the team grow.
Role location:
We are open to candidates located in Australia and New Zealand with full work rights. At Ignition, it's up to you to decide whether you want to work fully remote, in-office or a mixture of both.
What you will be doing:
- Building new, improving and maintaining existing frontend components
- Conversion of wireframes and mock-ups into fully functioning web applications
- Implementing the structure and design of web app sections
- Developing features to enhance the user experience
- Ensuring web design is optimised for smartphones
- Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Supporting validation and verification testing
- Utilising a variety of markup languages to write web pages
- Delivery of cross-browser compatibility for the platform
- Creation and maintenance of software documentation
- Optimising web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Committing to support a safe, mindful, and productive team environment, maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication
- Learn from others and mentor those around you to help them grow
- Play an important role in shaping the technical direction of frontend development
