The 9Now Web team is a primarily front-end agile software and streaming development team building the "Future of Television". Our core responsibility is building, testing, securing and maintaining 9now.com.au. We're at the forefront of 9Now’s strategy, creating a responsive, performant, accessible user experience for viewing 9Now content in mobile, tablet and desktop browsers.
You’ll be working alongside both Senior and Associate Engineers within the team, and closely with Product and Quality in the broader Streaming team.
We’re looking for people who are based in Sydney, and would be able to come into the office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop and test solutions.
Work across our web-based tech stack (Typescript and JavaScript), particularly utilising React (including Next.js, Styled Components, Jotai state management, Jest, Testing Library React and Playwright), hosted in Docker on AWS infrastructure.
Develop our streaming video stack and its accompanying analytics and observability.
