Senior Automation Test Engineer | Permanent Opportunity in Sydney Your new company Hays has partnered with one of the leading banking clients whose banking is looking for a Senior Test Engineer. You'll be part of Global Markets Technology, which consists of a group of specialist engineers that build and deliver services for the Global Markets business - particularly in the area of Foreign Exchange, Money Markets and Interest Rates. The team is highly agile and ensures that solutions adhere to enterprise standards. Your new role As a Senior Test Engineer, you'll be working with the team who is in charge of delivering complex solutions for the Global Markets Foreign Exchange business. You will be primarily focused on providing the Foreign Exchange and Money Markets solution components through a combination of manual and automation testing. The role involves ensuring that solutions built and configured by the team are fit for purpose in a highly complex, geographically dispersed, solution. It also involves regular interaction with development teams, including Engineering Managers, as well as Technical Support team members. What you'll need to succeed Experience working in Investment banking and Trading applications is a must Expertise in building test automation frameworks - SmartBear or UFT preferred Familiarity with server-side scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting PL/SQL Skills and Unix/Linux scripting Performance testing using JMeter preferred Knowledge of CI/CD implementation using Teamcity & Octopus Working knowledge of Agile practices What you'll get in return Annual salary ranging from $113000- $145000 plus Super Additional Annual Bonus Hybrid working- WFH/Sydney CBD What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
