As a Azure Engineer, you will be a part of a public cloud engineering team dedicated to improving and supporting our managed services customer environments. The team provides expert support and works towards ensuring our customers experience improved reliability and security over time.

In this role, you will be working with our service desk and experienced cloud engineers in your team to resolve customer requests, respond to alerts, implement changes and proactively monitor customer cloud environments.

We are looking for someone with IT service-desk and customer experience who wants to kick start their career as a cloud engineer. Typical day-to-day tasks include:

• Complete service requests to configure customer environments or provide information
• Investigate incidents and outages across the public cloud platform
• Respond to escalations and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner
• Monitor customer environments for trends and problems
• Develop proactive solutions that lead to a reduction in service ticket volumes while maintaining operational health and following appropriate change processes
• Maintain compliance targets for all customer environments
• Document solutions and knowledge in the Logicalis knowledge management system

In this role, you will be working with our service desk and experienced cloud engineers in your team to resolve customer requests, respond to alerts, implement changes and proactively monitor customer cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Ability to work in a complex environment with customers and colleagues located across multiple sites
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM tools such as Service Now

 Exposure and understanding of the following would be looked at favourably:

Understanding of Azure components including:

• Tenant
• Subscription
• Resource Groups and resources
• VM
• Storage
• Tags
• Azure role-based access and Azure AD

Good to have skills but not mandatory:

• AZ-900 and/or other Azure certifications
• Microsoft Defender for cloud
• Automated patching of Windows VM servers
• Apps and website Certificate renewals

In your role as Engineer you'll play a key role in building an exciting greenfield project to deliver our audacious digital audio strategy while also helping maintain and evolve our existing set of applications. 

Working in a small autonomous Agile squad, you’ll be crafting world-class high performance mobile and web applications & interfaces while actively working to build your skills in React Native.

This role suits someone who is interested in working across both web and mobile, with a primary focus on mobile development using React Native. You should be willing to deep dive into other areas including Swift and Kotlin (within the context of a React Native app).

About the Role:

As a Software Engineer in our P1C Application Development team, you will work on software development and day-to-day tasks related to card processing technology. This includes developing software applications, writing technical specifications, collaborating with business analysts and other teams, and providing support to clients globally. This role allows for working from home, with preferred locations in Melbourne or Sydney, but can be elsewhere in Australia.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Designing, coding, and testing application changes
• Providing support during UAT and assisting with software upgrades
• Collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to discuss functional and technical solutions

What You Will Need:

• Strong previous experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and card processing technology (such as P1C or Base 2000)
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations, and operations
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition
• A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the System Security Engineer will be responsible for improving the safety and security at Littlepay. You will be working with the security team to make sure our enterprise tools are secure and well operates.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Manage and secure our various mobile devices using MDM
• Manage mobile device deployments and configurations
• Securely provision and configure mobile devices
• Monitor and track mobile device activity
• Manage our Identity and Access Management system. Applying policies and security controls
• Secure the applications and collaboration tools used by the organisation
• Stay up to date with latest security technology and trends.
• Identify and assess security threats and vulnerabilities
