Are you an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Engineer looking to join a supportive team driven by purpose?

The Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing and Product Engineer, and working closely with the broader team, the Electronics Manufacturing Engineer will use their technical expertise to troubleshoot and propose innovative solutions for electronics-related issues and provide support in various production and testing processes.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting hardware production and testing ensuring product specifications are met.
Supporting product repairs including fault analysis and root cause investigation.
Inspecting incoming material QC to ensure compliance with specifications and applicable regulations and safety standards.
Writing specifications, instructions, reports, and handling other required administrative duties
Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvements in technology, cost, quality, delivery including the necessary documentation updates.
Supporting new staff training on new and existing processes.
Resolving issues and delays in production.
Running prototype and pilot build to check for manufacturing and product suitability including performance test under various conditions.
Assisting R&D in designing new test equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing test equipment.
Problem solving and continuous improvement using Six Sigma, 8D or A3 methodologies.
Assisting in production/process audits, providing technical feedback and supporting quality assurance.
Assisting other employees in the accomplishment of their assigned responsibilities as requested.


The Person

The person we need for this role:
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in instrumentations or electronics manufacturing environment.
Has experience with hands-on assembly and retrofitting.
Is capable of applying knowledge to troubleshoot and propose solutions for electronics-related issues
Is able to complete multiple tasks within timeframes.
Can communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Is proficient at assessing and understanding internal and external customer requirements.
Is able to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
Is able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Has strong time management skills.
Has strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Takes a precise and detailed approach to all tasks.
Is reliable and punctual.
Has at least intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

Salary range: $75,000 - $80,000
