Afterpay ANZ seeks a driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a part of our inside sales division, you will work closely with the inside sales manager to identify potential Afterpay merchants. Through a variety of communication channels including social media, Salesloft, emails, and phone calls, you will engage with ideal Afterpay business owners. Your primary responsibilities will involve generating and qualifying new opportunities, as well as scheduling appointments for our Account Executive team. By gaining insight into the unique requirements of diverse SMBs, you will serve as an expert, showcasing the value that Afterpay and our Account Executives can provide.

This position can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney, with flexible options for remote or office-based work.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated, positive and hardworking individuals to fill a variety of Business Development roles we currently have on offer.  You will work in the Independent Grocery space and be responsible for driving Client market share and category performance through ownership of in store promotional programs and increasing store sales results through opportunity-based selling.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be required to:

• Merchandise our clients’ product range within Independent grocery chains within your assigned area.
• Create point of sale displays, ensuring the product is well-stocked and maintained.
• Complete seasonal planograms when required
• Sell in new products and upsell all promotions
• Check stock levels for stores, liaising with store managers
• Report accurate data upon the completion of each visit

This opportunity will cover Canberra and surrounds. This full time role is 38 hours per week across Monday - Friday, with a competitive salary package including superannuation. In addition, you will either be provided with a company car or alternatively a car allowance.

The BDM would work towards identifying, qualifying and capturing new business opportunities and collaborate with the business area for growth of Leidos in Australia .

• Co-ordinating access and site inductions, reviewing contractor presented documentation, isolation management, pre-start meetings and oversight of works. 
• Assisting with testing and commissioning activities as a Facility Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing operational risks associated with operational equipment and services. 
• Managing the handover of new equipment, ensuring a smooth transition, including all relevant documentation, training, commissioning, and other handover requirements are executed. 
• Managing defect identification and closure process rectification within the project, prior to handover to ensure facility quality standards are met. 
• Ensuring project delivery teams adhere to Facility Management processes.
