This role will see you take full ownership of various client accounts whilst continuing to partner closely with your colleagues on other business projects and priorities. Specifically, this role will see you: Preparing client tax compliance and dealing with client tax issues; Assisting our corporate clients with general purpose financial reporting (IFRS); CFO advisory, from budgeting and forecasting, through to profit analysis and due diligence; Supporting a variety of different transactions, such as business acquisitions and litigation support. Assisting in the mentoring and training junior staff Our primary focus is delivering great results for our clients, no matter where that is done. Benefits Beyond your salary package, we are located within one of the prime Sydney offices, with fantastic views over the harbour. The salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000, depending on skills and experience. Qualification & Experience Beyond all else, you will be a true team player, with the intellectual curiosity and drive to learn and be consultative in style with clients. Furthermore, you will ideally possess the following skills, education and experience: You will be a qualified Accountant, Australian Chartered Accountant or overseas equivalent, with at least 3 years experience post qualified experience (more experience is encouraged); Experience / exposure to the Australian taxation system is desirable; Ability to use (or least very quickly learn) software such as Xero is important; Alternatively, you may have large firm audit experience and can leverage those experiences to assist our corporate client base. Tech savvy, having gained exposure to a wide variety of different operating systems (we work completely in the cloud; a sustainable paperless environment). You must be at ease with technology; and You may have started in mid-tier or Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm and are looking for a change Don’t have deep business services experience? That’s ok – we have a diverse client base, including a large number of corporate clients. Financial reporting experience is prized just as highly as business services experience.
