Meagher Howard Wright Main responsibility: ? Preparation of Financial Accounts, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheet, cash flow statements. ? Processing of client's data and reconciliation of various accounts; advising clients for required adjustments; ensuring the financial reports are prepared in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards. ? Visiting client's premises when required. ? Preparation of Tax Returns for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, superannuation funds, and individuals. ? Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements on the monthly, quarterly, or annually basis. ? Support with other accounting and taxation related tasks as required ? Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Qualifications, Skills and Work experience requirements ? Relevant bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting ? At least 2+ years accounting experience ? Advanced Microsoft Office skills ? Experience with computerised accounting systems, especially MYOB and XERO ? Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns. ? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. ? Attention to detail and accuracy. ? Ability to work autonomously and utilise time effectively.
