Your New Role

We have an opportunity to support a multi-year program to the Australian Defence Force working as a Relationship Manager/Process Analyst.

The role primarily focuses on working with the customer, managing relationships and mapping out their processes. A love for working onsite, embedded with the customer is key to success in this role. There is no opportunity to work remotely.

This role is primarily responsible for:

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues and requests in support of corporate computer hardware, software, network and telecommunication systems.

Tasks may include (but are not limited to):

• Account maintenance (password resets, account unlocks, etc.)
• Troubleshooting of the Windows 11 & 10 standard operating environment, including the Microsoft 365 Office suite and the applications contained within
• Remote access (VPN and Portal access, token troubleshooting)
• Exchange mailbox issues and requests, mail client (M365) support
• Managing access to the internal desk phone system
• Maintaining access lists to, and supporting file shares and network printers
• Co-ordinating procurement for mobile phone, hardware and software requests

We have an ongoing opportunity for a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Vulnerability Management (VM) Manager to join our team delivering comprehensive cybersecurity services to support the Australian Defence Forces. 

This role requires an understanding of the needs of the end user, the ability to provide cyber security assurance and advisory services in a secure environment and has scope for you to improve the customer’s operational capabilities. You will head the GRC and VM areas for our customers networks and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable Information Assurance (IA) frameworks, policies, and standards with particular focus on the Information Security manual (ISM) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF). You will also be supporting cyber security risk management activities, including the assessment and mitigation of vulnerabilities exploitable by relevant threats. Your responsibilities will include the following: 

• Support the customer in the ongoing governance of the cyber security services across multiple networks. 
• People leadership and management of the GRC and VM teams. 
• Accountability for the GRC and VM functions and delivery of artefacts.  
• Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exceptions assessments. Assess incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status and secure baselines, reporting on compliance to the customer. 
• Implement risk management framework including the management of the Cyber Security Risk Register, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns and advances the environments.  
• Evaluates risks to develop and implement security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks.  
• Quality assure GRC components of artefacts, reports, and other outputs. 
• Review and update policies, standards and processes for accuracy, completeness, and currency. 
• Improve the security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.  
• Conduct day to day reviews of operational security challenges and provide input into change control. 
• Assessment, ongoing reporting and tracking of vulnerabilities to ensure stakeholders understand the associated risks, gaps and remediation activities required. This is to be completed in collaboration with Industry partners. 
• Management of ongoing accreditation for the networks including routine document reviews, development and/or review of supporting artefacts such as SRMP, SSP, SSP-A, SOPS, etc.

This position as a SOC Senior Security Operations Analyst will see you leading a 24/7 Monitoring, Detection and Response teams. Responsible for leading, mentoring and providing the conduct of initial triage management and recommending actions to resolve incidents with minimal guidance.

Reporting directly to Senior Security Operations Lead, you will have the opportunity to help shape and develop our high-performing MDR team as they conduct their vital function in protecting critical Defence systems.

The role requires someone who is comfortable with some ambiguity, and is comfortable making decisions with limited oversight, as well as collaborating and engaging positively with other service providers and multiple areas of Defence.

The SOC is a 24x7x365 operation, operating multiple MDR shift teams across a rotating shift roster. This role will require you to encourage and lead a SOC MDR shift team, work closely with internal SOC teams and engaging with cross-functional teams on regular occasions in supporting our customer in their mission. You will also have additional tasks providing recommendations and working with Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunt and Threat detection Analyst for process and control improvements within the SOC.

This key management role oversees end-to-end delivery of a suite of integrated cybersecurity services to our customer. This hands-on role will utilise your stakeholder management, operational management and service improvement skills in a high tempo environment. Your New Role

As the Organisational Change Manager you will be responsible for leading the Organisational Change Management (OCM) capability as part of the Leidos project leadership team delivering an enterprise Health Knowledge Management (HKM) System for Defence.  You will be responsible for driving the OCM outcomes and ensuring the delivery of change and communication strategies and plans, together with associated risk and impact assessments.  The OCM Manager will work in collaboration across the project team and with the strategic OCM partner to successfully coordinate and implement change management activities.

A Day In Life

Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia develop and execute a national flying program on behalf of the Australian Border Force and provide 24/7 Search & Rescue support to the Australian Maritime Search Authority. Reporting to the Day of Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination and support of daily flying operations and aircrew rosters. The role works 12.5-hour shifts as part of a rotating shift roster. 

We are initially looking at a 9 month contract position, with a high likelihood to extend.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
