The role requires an experienced Service Transition Lead with a strategic mindset to support the Head of Service. The role is responsible for a large breadth of ITSM capabilities and leads Subject Matter Expert Team Leaders to facilitate operational outcomes and alignment with SIAM processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engagement of key stakeholders (business and technical) to foster modern service delivery in a complex environment
- Build and develop cross-functional teams to adopt and mature better practice ‘as a service’ delivery methodologies
- Provide Professional Development support to a team of SME Capability Leads, acting as SME yourself
- Coordinate and manage competing priorities to deliver contracted outcomes while managing the relationships with key client stakeholders
- Reporting operational achievements, activities and roadblocks at both a tactical and strategic level to various audiences, proactively calling our and managing/mitigating risks and issues
- Create, Update and Manage Governance Artefacts relating to:
- Change Management
- Continuity Management
- Disaster Recovery Management
- Release and Deployment Management
- Service Asset and Configuration Management
- Transition Planning and Support
