Reporting directly to the HSE Lead East, you will work closely with and support site operations to deliver on HSE objectives, strategies and accountabilities for the provision of services within your area of responsibility.
You will act as a key contact for the operational team and clients in regard to health, safety and environmental improvements, be focused on continuous improvement and drive strategies and initiatives to aid in the prevention of incidents.
You will be qualified in a health & safety related discipline and have a minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience in supporting, influencing and driving a zero harm mindset, have a detailed knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, critical risk management and root cause analysis. The successful candidate shall also possess strong IT acumen and report writing skills, paying attention to detail.

To be successful, you’ll need:
- A tertiary qualification in a health and safety related discipline is essential.
- Report writing and Investigations skills are essential
- Experience handling safety conversations with confidence and demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills
- Time management and the skill of managing a wide range of stakeholders across the business, are all crucial to success in this position
- A mindset focused on proactive safety management, with an emphasis on HSE assurance and lead indicator performance and relish leveraging innovation and industry best practice, to improve HSE performance.
