Job Purpose
The Modification Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the modification process & the implementation of approved ECR’s within the organization. This includes coordinating and implementing changes to systems, processes, or products to improve efficiency, functionality, and compliance. The Modification Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that modifications are planned, executed, and monitored effectively while aligning with ECR implementation Schedule.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Modification Planning: Develop and maintain a clear modification plan, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Manage the project plans, schedules.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand modification requirements and gather feedback. Ensure project goals align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with modifications and develop mitigation strategies.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all modifications meet quality and compliance standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of modification.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly the Fleet Modifications on behalf of the HRCABO on NIF Project.
• Participate to daily VMC meetings to assure that HRC Modification Scopes of Work is visible to stakeholders timely manner.
• Review the Project Plans and provide input to ensure they support the businesses objectives.
• Report all safety Incidents or near misses.
• Take any reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others subject to any limitations and/or obligations defined within HRC HSSE management systems.

Policies and Procedure Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with HRC procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HRC Fitness for Work Policy, including HRC Drug and Alcohol Management Plan
• Ensure compliance with all emergency plans and procedures and ensuring they are displayed as appropriate within your area.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Rail Safety legislation.
• Ensure all work is compliant with RCN Project Management policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• An appropriate qualification in an Engineering or project management discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years Rolling Stock experience.
• Understanding and working knowledge of project management practices.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
• Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.
