This position is for an 8 month fixed-term parental leave cover and is perfect for a Front Office and Reservations specialist who can imagine themselves delving into their next opportunity to learn and grow, with potential for a future permanent position for the right candidate.
What you will be doing:
- Maximise all sales opportunities through a strong knowledge of the hotel and facilities
- Manage all facets of group accommodation bookings, maximising occupancy, rate and guest experience
- Monitor the quality of reservations, the statistical information provided and inter-departmental communications to ensure the effectiveness of the department
- Work closely with the Sales and Events teams to execute group arrivals and movements
- Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and effective manner, following through to ensure all issues are rectified to a high level of satisfaction
- Develop effective relationships with conference clients, PCOs, hotel suppliers and other properties
- Assist the Reservations Manager in leading the team to ensure yield strategies are implemented and targets are met.
