THE OPPORTUNITY

You will play a critical role in supporting Partale’s continued growth as you partner with our clients to understand their business and provide tailored HR services which make commercial sense. Our clients sit across many industries such as Financial Services; Property; Technology; Professional Services; Public Relations; Retail; Health; Energy; and the Non-For-Profit sector.

 

You will build lasting positive relationships with our clients and look for opportunities to further service them directly or by working with our partners. This includes seeking opportunities to build new business.

 

As a Senior team member you will be instrumental in delivering client outcomes across the following areas: advising on employment conditions and practices; recruitment and onboarding; employment conditions and relations; policy and procedures; performance and reward; remuneration and benefits; learning, capability and organisational design; culture and values; talent management; diversity and inclusion; engagement; leadership development; and wellbeing.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 7 years human resources experience
• Naturally customer focused and proactive to support our clients

• Experience in partnering and advising businesses in core areas of Australian employment relations, including award interpretation

• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and collaborate with Melba’s Leadership team to understand workforce needs and proactively plan for future talent requirements.  
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition specialists, ensuring consistent, efficient and effective recruitment support is provided, including project related activities.
• Leverage technology to innovate the end-to-end attraction and recruitment process.  
• Recommend innovative remuneration and reward strategies to attract and retain candidates in challenging markets.

• Working with the Chief Employee Experience Officer, develop, review and refresh the Melba employee value proposition to enable the attraction of top talent to Melba.
• Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives across the recruitment process ensuring a diverse candidate pool and accessibility is maintained for all candidates.
• Ensure an effective recruitment process is in place and reviewed regularly for effectiveness.
