The Opportunity

As the Technical Specialist (Structures), your core responsibility will be to manage Jetstar’s A320/1 Fleet Structures during C Checks, Operational AOG’s and Hangar visits, for scheduled work packs, ad-hoc work packs and defect rectification.

The primary function of the Technical Specialist role is to support the Duty Technical Manager in providing technical support to the AMO’s, monitoring and managing aircraft fleet health, providing a single point of contact to Maintenance Planning and Technical Service for ongoing campaigns & modifications and assisting in the recovery of disruptions during day of operations.

The Technical Specialist also works closely with our reliability team to identify and address recurring defects and to isolate rogue components which may be affecting fleet OTP in addition to working with Maintenance Planning and the MSC functions to ensure rectification activity is planned effectively across the line maintenance network.

Reporting to the Base & Intermediate Maintenance Manager, broader responsibilities for this role will include:

Act as AMO primary focal point for internal and external stakeholders on all items relating to Structures related activity
Use best endeavours to ensure that the Aircraft Structural repairs are delivered to match requirements set by Jetstar management
Take on ownership of complex technical requirements to ensure efficient return to service of aircraft
Assist structures technicians with damage mapping
Provide reporting and repair recommendations in conjunction with structures technicians
Support Jetstar AMO maintenance activity, including AOG recoveries to reduce ground time and improve aircraft availability
Assist and provide information to Commodities and Contracts Manager for use in the development of business strategies
Focus on sustainable future and cost reduction strategies.
Develop understanding of stock holdings on structures LRU’s, and consumable and expendables
Make recommendations for min/max stock holdings.
This is a unique opportunity working closely with our base maintenance team where you will also play a pivotal role working closely with our frontline Engineers. We are seeking an individual with experience in, and a passion for Structural aircraft maintenance.

Additional services include physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy and Aboriginal health. Diagnostic services include onsite pathology, CT scans, ultrasound and general x-ray.

About the Role

Reporting to the Performance Manager, a full time position is now available for a Dispute Resolution Specialist to join the team based in our Melbourne, Docklands head office.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the achievement of Customer Operations key objectives through best practice complaint management to deliver sustainable resolutions to complex and escalated complaints received within the Dispute Resolution Team with a key focus on telco.

This role will require you to work directly with customers and stakeholders to resolve complex and varied complaints and issues (including working directly with external parties such as Ombudsman bodies for Energy &/or Telecommunications and distributors).

Within this role you will also be required to proactively analyse complaint trends and root cause drivers to bring the voice of customer to life with the aim of identifying and delivering initiatives to improve business efficiency, enhance customer experience, reduce customer pain points and complaint cost to serve.

                  

Key accountabilities of this role:

• Timely and accurate resolution of Ombudsman complaints requiring investigation or internal escalated complaints. This is achieved through case management ownership, accountability for timely and high-quality investigation, negotiation and putting forward sustainable solutions. 

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with your Scheme counterparts by being the point of contact for your cases, ensuring the provision of full, detailed and quality investigation responses in agreed format, calling through to conciliators prior to case submissions to talk through the outcome of the investigation, the proposed resolution, and any further information requirements within SLAs.

• Ensuring that investigations are compliant with the Ombudsman’s expectations and regulations and guidelines set out by either the Essential Services Commission, the Australian Energy Regulator for Energy or the Australian Communications and Media Authority for Telecommunications. All upgrades should be assessed for areas of improvement and compliance and challenged or fed back to the relevant business where appropriate.

• Monitoring of ageing and upgrades to ensure work is being completed within defined SLAs, along with proactive intervention and escalation of cases that threaten to fall outside SLA to ensure that customer issues are resolved as quickly as possible.

• Proactively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their business objectives; provide regular performance updates to and solicit regular feedback on performance.

• Where required, provide subject matter expertise and input into AGL process forums, projects, user acceptance testing processes pertaining to your process area/s of expertise, or formally represent the Dispute Resolution team in process and system review forums as nominated with delegated decision-making authority in these forums on behalf of the Dispute Resolution Team.

• Prompt escalation of distributor / wholesaler related issues and potential systemic issues to relevant functional areas. Ensuring risks and issues are flagged in the risk and issues registers.

• Management of operational change resulting from system, regulatory and process updates and notifications

Qualifications, key skills and experience required:

• Previous industry experience in Telco and complaints will be highly sought after

• High level of customer service and complaint management experience

About the Role

Reporting to the Vendor and Strategic Initiatives Manager, a newly  created position has become available on a full time basis for a Vendor Specialist to join the team in our Docklands head office.

The primary purpose of this role is to undertake analysis to seek, develop, and help implement Vendor onboarding and offboarding for the Contact Centres. They will also work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate service provider support and related initiatives.

You will work closely with various teams and the wider Customer Service team to put a strong contractual governance for Vendors and holding them accountable including ensuring that they are delivering their KPIs/SLAs. You will work closely with Procurement and Legal for RFP process and assist your manager with legal and commercial negotiations and ensure the close coordination and ensuring the achievement of expected outcomes.

Key accountabilities of this role:

• Engage with existing Vendors, internal and external stakeholders in establishing Contractual Governance including holding vendors accountable for their contractual obligations and promises made during the RFP Stage

• Ensuring all change requests are up to date and formally documented with vendors

• Assessing the performance of vendors in line with agreed KPIs/SLAs

• Supporting leadership in running and analysis of RFPs, comparing BAFOs and creating business case to finalise the RFP recommendations

• Assisting with Negotiating contracts with suppliers

• Ensuring vendor compliance with AGL's policies and standards

• Managing vendor billing and disbursements

• Onboarding and Offboarding of Vendors including coordination with procurement, legal and business teams

• Analyse and undertaking in-depth investigations to help define business problems by gathering technical and non-technical information.

• Conduct research and analysis to identify market best practices, evaluate potential impacts and shape these opportunities to execution with the aim to contribute to the long-term value of the business including finding opportunities to incorporate those in vendor contracts.

• Perform an end-to-end impact analysis of pre-change implementation and perform post implementation reviews of vendor onboarding and offboarding.

• Contributing to the development of a framework to enable the effective implementation of change within the Contact Centres and across business as required both onshore and offshore

• Use a range of systems and databases to gather information and provide valuable insights.

About the role

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• Strong experience with HRIS, ATS and talent acquisition tools with a focus on data integrity

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is attention to detail

• The ability to effectively coach and mentor, and to measure performance and apply standards

• You must be an Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA clearance or the ability to obtain one

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Portfolio Director of Talent and Culture to work on a Full Time basis. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function and supporting the growth and development of the team with a hands on approach.

Keys duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Reporting to the Portfolio General Manager, you will collaborate with the Leadership Team to provide  guidance, motivation & advice on all HR related matters
• Drive Team Member Engagement and promote a positive culture

• Act as a trusted advisor and provide advice in the resolution of issues including performance management, grievances, investigations, role changes and remuneration reviews

• Manage the Internal (IDR) and External Dispute Resolution (EDR) across the organization
• Assess, investigate and compile relevant information to support all disputes
• Case Management of AFCA files including mediations and jurisdiction appeals
• Manage escalated internal customer mediations and negotiations on complex or high risk accounts
• Manage education programs related to dispute handling for client facing business units
• Periodically review and update business policies and processes to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
• Collate and present dispute data and trends to internal and external stakeholder groups
• Provide high quality written or verbal responses on all disputes
• Identify opportunities and contribute to process and service improvements

• Adhere to internal policy, system processes and external regulatory requirements

About the role

Embrace a challenging role as Senior Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Inventory Specialist working across Bega’s national manufacturing network. This newly created role will drive operational excellence by leading the standardisation and optimisation of MRO inventory master data and associated business process. You will coach and develop site-based stores and purchasing roles, develop and improve business processes, analyse data, and identify strategic inventory opportunities. The role will also provide functional expertise in the ongoing development of our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Other responsibilities:

Maintenance Inventory Catalogue Standardisation

• Lead the standardisation of MEX Stores Catalogue master data (100,000+ items)

• Stock Class

• Naming nomenclature

Unlock inventory efficiencies through technology, system & analytical capabilities

• Lead the integration of the CMMS & ERPs (M3/GEP & SAP) to achieve streamlined stock replenishment (MRP) and purchasing processes

• Develop a data and analytics strategy to support further procurement and working capital cost reduction

• Align preferred suppliers to catalogue items to achieve procurement benefits

• Develop governance structure to maintain data integrity into the future

Coach site-based resources on process alignment to business processes

• Stock/Cycle Counting

• MRP purchasing

• Cost centre allocation alignment

• Catalogue nomenclature / master data integrity

Redundant equipment management

• Lead the cataloguing & re-deployment or sale of redundant assets across the network

About you:

• Practical experience in MRO inventory space – experience with maintenance store directly or Master data governance role.

• Background in FMCG or similar industry i.e. Heavy Industry, Manufacturing, Transport, Engineering.

• Highly influential – ability to indirectly lead 20+ site based roles to achieve best practice inventory management 

• Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
