The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Building Components business as a Business Improvement Manager covering South Australia. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions, and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
In this newly created role you’ll be working closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service and our Branch Network. You’ll utilise your leadership, project management and influential relationship management skills to achieve business improvement initiatives to optimise business processes and enhance product offer and business profitability.
This role works Monday to Friday. When you join our team, we offer flexibility with working hours, as well as access to our Employee Assistance Program, further development and career opportunities, all while being mentored by industry experts and leaders.
What Will You Do?
This is a unique opportunity to apply your business improvement expertise in a role where you’ll be encouraged to continue your professional and career development. You will:
- lead business improvement initiatives by developing and implementing a strategy for each initiative
- manage improvement projects from initiation to completion ensuring delivery on time within scope, and within budget
- conduct analysis of current business processes to identify trends and measure improvement
- provide direction and guidance to key team across the business working to deliver critical projects
- promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
will be highly regarded. Action-orientated, you will drive for results and be well organised whilst displaying exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This will be supported with a natural ability to manage and resolve conflict, build effective teams and deliver successful projects.

- strong business improvement and project management experience
- demonstrated experience in developing effective strategies and best practice planning

- demonstrated ability to mobilise, engage and influence a diverse range of colleagues to deliver a common goal
