The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our customer centric, collaborative and innovative Service Integration team as a SIAM (Service Management) Process Manager in our IT function.

We've been on a journey over the last few years to enhance our in-house IT capability - and our SIAM team are proud of the increased service level we now offer our business

The role of the Service Management (SIAM) Process Manager is to govern (as a specialist) and manage the key SIAM processes for Bluescope across Australia. The role will be responsible for ensuring fit for purpose processes are defined and implemented by the newly established SIAM function.

This role can be based in Mount Waverley VIC, or Wollongong NSW

What Will You Do?

You will have oversight of all SIAM processes and will be required to work with key business stakeholders and IT Product Owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the delivery of IT Service Management. Key to the success of the role is effectively leading the design of the SIAM operational model and the subsequent implementation of SIAM within our Australian business.

To achieve this, you will:

Lead the design, development, and measurement of fit for purpose SIAM related processes for IT.  Key processes include:

  1. Event Management
  2. Incident Management
  3. Change Management
  4. Problem Management
  5. Service Request and Catalogue Management
  6. Asset & Config Management CMDB (CSDM v3 or v4)
  7. Service Level Management
  8. Service Transition
  9. Knowledge Management
  • Assist the IT Product Owner – SIAM in the transition of IT Services to operate in a multi-sourced SIAM operating model
  • Develop a highly collaborative relationship with service providers process owners
  • Establish and maintain strong, productive and collaborative relationships with service providers to ensure the required level of service
  • Build collaborative relationships within other areas of the business outside of IT to extend the Service Management concepts and processes to other departments

More About You

You have a can do, self-starter attitude with demonstrable knowledge and experience of IT Service Management.  You will have managed relationships with external service providers.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, passionate about customer experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will have:

  • An understanding of the complexities and challenges of a large organization
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and customers including service providers
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow Common Services Data Model
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and project management methodologies
  • Experience of working within Agile methodologies
  • A good understanding of Application development lifecycle
  • A good understanding of CMDB and CSDM data models
  • A tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline
