BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

What Will You Do?
You won’t achieve all this on your own! leading your team and collaborating with individuals across Sales, Customer Service, Safety, Human Resources, and our National operations and leadership teams you will:
- achieve optimal safety outcomes: embed and cultivate Felt Leadership values through a Zero Harm Safety Culture
- foster a high-performing and inclusive team: coach, retain and motivate the operations team, growing the team and uplifting their capability
- fulfil day-to-day management accountabilities: manage all operations matters, including safety, scheduling, manufacturing, maintenance, stores and transport
- achieve business objectives: lead the operations team in the areas of safety, cost, productivity, DIFOT, CAPEX budget, maintenance and performance management
- lead and promote an innovative culture: strive to continually improve the performance and efficiency of production, quality and delivery (DIFOT)

It’s your deep knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence combined with your propensity to navigate through challenges and develop innovative new solutions that will support your success.
You will bring:
- experience leading and developing an engaged, inclusive and high-performing team
- an ability to communicate and deliver a message to a variety of different audiences from operations staff through to senior leadership teams
- previous experience developing and embedding operational processes and metrics
- an understanding of the linkage between production, supply chain and logistics streams and the ability to develop and execute strategies that align with our national manufacturing excellence framework
- demonstrated commercial acumen
