Working with big data, you will play a key part in developing impactful dashboards and performance metrics.
Deliver reports to the procurement team.
Have ownership of product cost mapping reference with full breakdown of the supply chain's value chain.
Maintain commercial models/templates customised to category/function of support.
Collate data and produce reports, including pipeline initiative tracking/validation and trend analysis on usage data.

The role

As a Senior Payroll Officer at Retinue, you will be joining a growing team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse client base. Leveraging your extensive experience in payroll processing, you will ensure that our clients' payroll operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with tax legislation.

You will not be responsible for calculating employee hours, rates of pay or entitlements, which we consider to be employment relations work and outside the scope of our payroll processing service. You will however be responsible for helping our clients make payroll processing less of a burden and making sense of complex ATO/tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that payroll processing is completed on time, is accurate, and with a focus on providing a hassle-free client experience.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and reporting requirements of different states and territories.
• Complete superannuation reconciliations and lodgements
• Accurately report, manage and lodge payroll information through the Single Touch Payroll system.
• Resolve escalated payroll issues and queries, collaborating with clients, internal stakeholders, and external authorities when necessary.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation that may impact payroll processing.
• Provide supervision to junior team members, including offshore team members, to help foster their professional growth and development.
• Complete year-end payroll activities and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role, managing payroll for multiple clients ideally in a senior capacity.
• Xero payroll software experience is essential; experience of using other payroll systems will be considered favourably.
• In-depth knowledge of tax legislation to the extent it relates to payroll processing.
• Ability to manage multiple client priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Analyzing the existing documentation landscape, identifying gaps, and estimating the effort required to complete necessary documentation.
• Collaborating closely with the project team, including Business Analysts, Salesforce Architects, Salesforce Developers, and Integration Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Leading the effort to develop comprehensive documentation, ensuring it aligns with best practices and meets the needs of the project.
• Leveraging your Salesforce Development background and functional expertise to guide the team towards effective documentation and development processes.
• Acting as a catalyst for change by spearheading the transition of documentation from development to production services.
• Providing valuable insights and recommendations for achieving excellence in Salesforce Development best practices.


Key Skills & Experience requirements:

Proven business analysis experience with the ability to gather and document requirements and translate to the technical team and/or the business
You have worked on Salesforce projects previously and understand the platform, its potential, and its limitations.
Experience working with Salesforce Developers and clearly communicating business requirements to the technical Salesforce team and Salesforce Platform Owner
Participate in change activities and adopt new ways of working to support organisational changes required to create and sustain IT & technology capabilities
Continually look at business and system improvements to ensure continual innovation
