Our client is seeking to hire a Standalone Payroll Officer to perform the full E2E function and assist the finance team with other related duties. We believe that the successful candidate is a true team player who loves providing excellent service. About the position
5 days on-site.
End to end payroll processing in accordance to policies and procedures.
On board new employees and enter variations to employment records.
Process termination requests and payments ensuring correct PAYG withholding on payments.
Process salary packaging arrangements and salary deductions.
Update Personal leave entitlements where there is an increase in Full Time Employment.
Update Masterfile details.
Calculate and process pro-rata entitlements.
Process superannuation and payroll tax.
Validate data entry and payroll reports.
To be successful
The successful candidate will have experience across the full E2E function and have worked in similar or standalone positions. The successful candidate will also enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, be service minded with great communication skills and independently seek solutions to problems that might appear.
Experiences and Qualifications:
The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
2+ years of experience in the Payroll domain
Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline e.g. Payroll, Finance, Accounting (desirable)
Experience with using enterprise packages preferably Technology One.
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
