As reporting on web behaviour plays a critical role in ClickSend’s marketing success, we are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Marketing Team. As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for the recording and reporting of data, which is vital to ClickSend’s ongoing success.
Key responsibilities:
- Build dashboards using Periscope and other BI software like Tableau.
- Write the SQL that drives all reporting and dashboards.
- Analyse and report on sales funnel metrics.
- Measure performance of online marketing campaigns.
- Report on marketing KPIs like website traffic, leads, deals, conversion rates, churn, CPA, ROAS etc.
- Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates).
- Conduct competitive research and analyse benchmarking data.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition.
- Analyse data to find answers to specific questions from internal stakeholders.
- Set up data infrastructure.
- Develop, implement and maintain dashboard data.
- Assess quality of data and removing or cleaning data.
- Generate information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns.
- Prepare reports for executive and project teams.
To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical skills and be an expert in writing SQL for various platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc). Experience with a range of reporting dashboard platforms is expected, with Periscope and Tableau preferred. Additionally, experience with data sources and troubleshooting issues across the whole data pipeline is highly regarded. You will be a strong communicator and be comfortable writing and presenting data, and gathering feedback from stakeholders. You will demonstrate a natural curiosity and ability to take ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
