About the Role (your why)

We are currently seeking a Citrix Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Citrix Engineer, you will be responsible for the continual delivery of desktop services to end clients utilizing desktop, application and user virtualization/streaming, and any other methods of desktop services required while maintaining excellent relationships and ensuring effective and professional communication with all relevant parties.

It is essential that you are an Australian citizen to be considered for this role and NV1 is required. This role is available across all of our AU offices; Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Melbourne.

What you’ll do

As a Citrix Engineer, you will be passionate about Citrix and continually identify ways you can leverage the technology to enhance the customer experience. You will be familiar with Xendesktop and XenApp, and be a frequent user of Citrix Cloud services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Citrix solutions and troubleshoot any issues
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of Citrix infrastructure
• Maintain and administer Citrix policies and profiles to ensure security and compliance

What you’ll bring

• Relevant experience as a Citrix Engineer or similar role
• Knowledge and experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop)

What Will You Do?

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in focusing on the BlueScope business reporting and analytics initiatives. This role is critical to building the data assets that result in driving business value from our data and enabling data-driven decision making. Be part of a collaborative team supporting our Australian Steel Products business by turning data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound organizational decisions. The Data Engineer is responsible for building, managing and optimising data pipelines and then moving these data pipelines into production for key data and analytics consumers.

This role requires a combination of business focus, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and some programming knowledge to leverage machine learning and other data-driven techniques.

Each day you will play an integral part in lifting the data maturity and capability of the organisation by:

• Designing, creating and maintaining secure data pipelines and data assets with end-to-end development and implementation of data collection, consolidation and modelling activities
• Analysis of business requirements with the view to deliver outcomes through data mining and data wrangling
• Developing managed data pipelines through a series of zones or stages within a data lake
• Implementing and managing data security protocols, ensuring data assets are not accessed or corrupted by unauthorised users
• Use innovative and modern tools, techniques and architectures to partially or completely automate the data preparation and integration tasks within data asset pipelines
• Working with various stakeholders including external service providers

More About You

We don’t expect you to know our industry or our business, we have an internal network to support your learning that, it’s your knowledge of Data Engineering that we would like to support and develop. We are looking for team player with: -

• A recognized degree in Engineering, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field
• The ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A combination of IT skills, data governance skills, and analytics skills
• Significant work experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimisation and data quality
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative
• Solid understanding of Agile project delivery methods
• Experience working with Azure PaaS services and DevOps
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI and Cognos

Opportunity:

The Sales engineer will work with enterprise customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles within these accounts. Experience and Qualifications:

• College or University Degree in a business or technical discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in networks, WAN, LAN, Wireless and Wired Communication networks, Client/server knowledge, ERP systems, and CCTV/video surveillance equipment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in order to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel in an organization, including technical and executive

About the Role, and Why it is a GREAT Step for You!

Datacom operations are seeking an Operations Centre Engineer whose role is to monitor systems including Windows, UNIX, Database, Cloud and backups in real-time on a 24x7x365 rotational basis and able to troubleshoot/triage/resolve events or escalating to specialist’s teams for resolution. You will receive a standby allowance for when offshift and when called in to cover, all hours are considered overtime. There is a shift allowance of 12.5% on all working hours too so that standard pay is as uniform as possible, regardless of if you are day or night shift.

It is essentially just above an entry-level role, so don't let the title scare you off! We do still need people with IT experience - the role is perfect for those who have done service desk or desktop engineering work - but note that this is still an associate level position. It is seen as a transitionary role and a great stepping stone to get into higher level IT roles, as has happened with many of our staff since the teams' inception 4 years ago. After working in this role, you should be able to handle the business critical tasks and changes while you have time to focus on any certifications you are interested in. You can really showcase your skills ihere and be involved with the technologies that you want to be involved with, initially at a lower level but you can steadily increase your utilisation of other, higher technologies as you grow and develop.

This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of SICE's proprietary software for the assigned project by:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an automotive environment working on:
• Safety requirements for ASIL rated systems and ISO 26262
• Diagnostic requirements for system diagnostics ISO 14229
• Generation of supporting documents to support software development; and
• Software architecture design
• Proficiency in Use Cases and/or Story Telling for requirements development.
• Experience with building and coordinating traceability matrix.
• Extensive experience in quality planning and implementing quality gates for both products and processes.
• A sound understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) through requirements, design, implementation, testing and support.
• Experience with ASPICE is mandatory and experience with IEC61508 is highly regarded.
• Proficiency with the following tools, technologies & systems (or equivalents): C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Python, Vector Toolkit, V-Model Development, Enterprise architect, Polarian
• Demonstrable project management skills (5+ years) in automotive or related industries.
• The ability to be a key member of a high performing team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment dealing with complex and multiple tasks.
• The ability to analyse problems and develop innovative solutions.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to business needs.
• Excellent organisation skills and fluency in written and verbal communication in English.
