About the Project: New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas. The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce: High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine. A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water. This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere. About the role: As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you will be responsible to coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives. Working within our Treatment Plant Mechanical team based in Kemps Creek, NSW. Responsibilities of the role include: Work closely with the Projects Engineering and Supervisory team to ensure timely delivery of programme requirements from a cost and time perspective Significant input in managing project Quality Systems with respect to inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping Planning & Programming Assist with procurement & supplier management Ensure compliance of the works undertaken in relation to technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards with a focus on risk management To be successful in this key role, you must have: Degree qualified Civil/Mechanical Engineer with at least 12 months post qualification experience Understanding contemporary practices in construction methodology on civil infrastructure projects Passion for teamwork and delivering on tight deadlines Excellent time management and prioritisation Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures Knowledge of FRP, SMP and Mechanical Infrastructure, Mining, Tunnelling, Water Infrastructure As part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
