Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Midwife looking for a new position? Nepean Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Midwives join our team. We currently have multiple full time and part time opportunities available. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided to women and their families. Nepean Private Hospital has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement. Our Women's Health Unit encompasses antenatal, postnatal, intrapartum care, gynaecology and a level 2 special care nursery. Our dynamic team is proud to provide women and their families the highest standard of care and customer service. It is an exciting time for Nepean Private Hospital. We are investing in our future with an exciting $38M redevelopment which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with 4 new operating theatres, purpose built pre-admission area, new sterilising department, new foyer and retail space, new consulting suites, refurbished main entry and a new car park. And we have just purchased a new $3.5Million Da Vinci Robot to expand our complex surgery program. As a Registered Midwife your responsibilities will be to:
Deliver evidence based midwifery care
Work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
Deliver a high standard of customer service
Ensure patient and staff safety
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:
Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
Clinical skills and motivation to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service
A minimum 1 year of post graduate Midwifery experience
A commitment to safe practice and quality patient care
Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and within a team structure
The ability to act in a professional manner at all times
