Datacom operations are seeking an Operations Centre Engineer whose role is to monitor systems including Windows, UNIX, Database, Cloud and backups in real-time on a 24x7x365 rotational basis and able to troubleshoot/triage/resolve events or escalating to specialist’s teams for resolution. You will receive a standby allowance for when offshift and when called in to cover, all hours are considered overtime. There is a shift allowance of 12.5% on all working hours too so that standard pay is as uniform as possible, regardless of if you are day or night shift.

It is essentially just above an entry-level role, so don't let the title scare you off! We do still need people with IT experience - the role is perfect for those who have done service desk or desktop engineering work - but note that this is still an associate level position. It is seen as a transitionary role and a great stepping stone to get into higher level IT roles, as has happened with many of our staff since the teams' inception 4 years ago. After working in this role, you should be able to handle the business critical tasks and changes while you have time to focus on any certifications you are interested in. The Service Coordinator is expected to be team-oriented and possess strong communication, computer and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include handling all customer service and parts requests that are received through both telephone and email. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Customer Care 

• Manage and process customer Enquires, quotes and spare parts orders. 
• Create cases and work orders for all Field Service Representative (FSE) work. 
• Initiate follow-up calls with FSEs and customers for any work order discrepancies. 
• Coordinate Customer service visits and liaise with the customers and FSE on (service visits, new projects, upgrades, other service-related visits). 
• Process and submit estimates (quotes) to customers for all service work as required. 
• Support Field Service Engineer – Team Lead in managing resource utilization and capacity planning. 

Parts Support 

• Timely response to quotations, technical enquiries, and requests for information. 
• Expedite customer orders to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction. 
• Ordering stock for customer spare parts orders, with internal and external suppliers, manage receipting into system. 
• Picking and packing and arrange shipping of spare parts orders. 
• Create work orders for service requests ensure we have purchase orders for all service visits. 
• Create RMA and manage return process for warranty and repair orders, including external supplier repairs. 

Administration & Organisation 

• Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. 
• Observe and comply with Tomra’s code of conduct. 
• Positively and actively support effective communication, encourage, and provide constructive feedback. 
• Support the overall organisational vision, values, and culture. 
• Provide weekly report of assigned KPI /SLA metrics. 
• Work with other departments within Tomra to facilitate on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. 
• Daily review of open work orders on regional dashboard. 
• Book business travel arrangements for FSEs and other Tomra employees as required. 
• Follow-up on maintenance contracts that are expiring within 90 days of renewal.

• Ensure the team works within agreed operating models, and ensure all decisions are made within agreed authority limits.

• Identify, implement and embed any Excellence initiatives to improve quality, performance and efficiency of the team to facilitate outstanding customer experience 

The role of the Business Manager-Nine Plus is to work closely with the Group Business Director- with key tasks in achieving revenue targets.

Day to day you will:

• Be committed to over achieving both your individual and the team’s monthly revenue targets
• Represent the Nine Plus brand within the market, having a strong and reputable market presence 
• Maintain a clear understanding of all of Nine’s wider products spanning Broadcast, Publishing, Radio and Digital
• Present a minimum of 5 weekly pro-active ideas and strategies to generate new business
