Step into the Defence industry supporting the HR Manager with Talent and Human Resources priorities! Come and join this Defence organisation during this exciting period of growth as their Human Resources / Talent Co-ordinator! This is a newly created role due to the organisation about to double in size! This position is to commence initially as a 12-month contract but will more than likely end up permanent due to the projected growth strategies. This role is a full-time office based position, however your working week is compressed, so you work a 9-day fortnight. This vacancy is for either a Talent or HR Administrator seeking a role to create and make their very own! Your new role Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, who is just delightful, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment and being responsible for all HR activities and key projects. Your generalist day to day will look like: Assisting with recruitment efforts, including candidate screenings and interview co-ordination. Assisting with onboarding and offboarding's to ensure seamless integration for new and existing team members. Maintaining and updating all policies and procedures. Actively engaging employee relations and conflict resolution. Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders. Supporting managers with HR Administration and diaries. Updating of job descriptions and assisting with ISO accreditations. Supporting the wider business units with all HR matters and enquiries. What you'll need to succeed To be a successful applicant for this opportunity, you will have a background in HR Practices, you will possess excellent interpersonal ability to develop and sustain strong relationships. You will also have a strong ability to multitask and communicate through your self-motivated nature and enjoy working in a team environment. Please note, due to being a Defence organisation, you do need to be an Australian citizen and will need to undergo a Defence clearance.
