As the Corporate Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and maintenance of over 60 hotels (across Australia and New Zealand), ensuring high standards in building management and compliance. This role will drive and deliver projects that enhance building operations, implement effective frameworks and processes, and streamline efficiencies across all properties. 

Your extensive experience in facilities management, building management, and a strong understanding of body corporate and strata management will be crucial driver of the success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage the maintenance, operations, and upkeep of facilities for over 60 hotels across Australia & New Zealand.
• Establish and maintain relationships with property management teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment upgrades to maintain optimal building conditions.
• Drive and deliver high-impact building management projects, focusing on sustainability, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Lead initiatives related to property upgrades, renovations, and compliance improvements across the hotel portfolio.
• Provide strategic recommendations for project prioritisation, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Develop, implement, and govern compliance frameworks and processes that ensure adherence to local, state, and national regulations across all properties, including but not limited to building codes, fire safety, environmental sustainability, and health and safety regulations, ensuring properties remain compliant.
• Lead educational workshops and awareness sessions focused on building maintenance, safety compliance, and energy efficiency.
• Develop metrics to monitor performance and implement data-driven strategies to ensure optimal facility operation and management.

We are looking to appoint a Director of Franchising at Minor Hotels. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision and operational performance of our franchising division within Australia and New Zealand.

The Director of Franchising will play a crucial role in expanding Minor Hotels' footprint, ensuring alignment with our overall corporate objectives, and fostering successful partnerships with franchisees. This position demands a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in franchise management, business development, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry to propel our franchising efforts to new heights.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive franchise strategy for Minor Hotels in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives
• Monitor franchisee performance and profitability, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support to improve performance
• Build Franchising Operating Procedures, Metrics, Systems and Processes for Minor Hotels Brands in Australia and New Zealand
• Develop and execute franchisee training programs to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational best practices
• Work with franchise partners to open new franchise operations and manage changeovers as and when directed, providing assistance in the training of new and existing teams
• Work closely with franchise partners to develop a professional relationship to achieve desired results for all stakeholders
• Negotiate and execute franchise agreements and ensure compliance with franchisee contract terms
• Ensure compliance to all brand standards within franchise operations

As a Department Manager you are responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with your store. You ensure you have a Great Team and support their development, working with succession planning, talent development and structured performance management for your team based on results, values, and leadership.   

Key responsibilities: 

• Regularly analyse and follow up Sales & Profit KPIs for your department and together with the Visual  

• Merchandisers you take action to maximise sales. 

• Drive Hello Member program in line with country goals.

• Ensure your department continuously meets H&M standards and follow this up using the Customer Experience Tool.  

• Together with your Visual Team, you ensure the implementation of the Commercial Handbook. 

• Evaluate and manage the performance of your team; give regular feedback, execute performance development reviews, development plans, follow-up and take any appropriate action to improve performance and develop your team. 

• Actively work with a talent pipeline in your department to support the business and store needs.

As an Audio Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Audio Lead and other teams within the Creation Department to design and integrate a fully immersive soundscape for an upcoming cross-platform title, delivering a realistic and captivating gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Creating unique SFX by recording Foley using sound libraries, and creative sound design techniques
• Integrating sounds into the game using audio middleware, game engines, and audio technical design skills
• Contributing ideas to establish the game's sound identity
• Collaborating with composers, mixers, and team members for a cohesive audio experience
• Communicating regularly with the audio and production teams involved in the project
