The Role

On behalf of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), AHA's team of data collection officers will work with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants to collect data that will help the NDIA measure the impact of the NDIS on its participants and inform quality improvements to the scheme.

The role involves making outbound calls to people with a disability who are registered with the NDIS (and/or a carer/family member) to collect accurate data about their experience of the NDIS.

Working days are Monday to Friday and the team work between 9am to 8pm. Each team member completes one 12-8pm shift per week, with the remainder being 9-5pm. There is the option for full-time or part-time hours (minimum 22.5 hours), with the possibility of ongoing work.

This is not a typical call centre role. The focus will be on engaging NDIS participants and families/carers with empathy and patience to collect high quality data. It is not just focused on efficiency and KPIs.

We're looking for people with the attitude and aptitude to utilise their skills in this important role. This role would be well suited to people who have worked in the disability, health, education or social services sector, or people who are currently studying in a relevant discipline.

Work arrangements

We offer flexible work arrangements following the initial office-based training. You’ll have the opportunity to work from home four days a week and in our Melbourne office with your team one day a week. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, candidates who elect to work from home must ensure they have a suitable working space that also recognises and respects the confidentiality needs of participants.

We are on the hunt for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team.

This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility with the convenience of remote work, coupled with occasional in-office interactions (Sunshine Coast or Brisbane) for team events.

We are looking for a candidate who is not only willing and eager to learn but also takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of self-motivation. This full-time role will assist the Payroll Manager and will be dedicated to efficient and effective payroll processing.

Additional responsibilities may include helping with Accounts Payable and processing expense claims.

Due to our remarkable growth and the influx of invoices, we're on the lookout for a talented individual who can seamlessly operate as a Hybrid Accounts Office. As part of our tight-knit team, you'll collaborate with a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer and an Accounts Payable Officer in managing high volumes of payments.

Reporting  to the Financial Controller, the key duties are, but not limited to:

Customer and Service Management

• Be the go-to contact for internal and external parties, managing relationships, and handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties during holidays.
• Strive for Accounts Payable customer service excellence and act as a key business contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable queries.

Business Tasks

• Manage two functions based on daily workload—Accounts Payables, Credit Cards maintenance, and Creditors ledger maintenance.
• Ensure timely payments, uphold integrity in creditors' data, and handle expense reconciliations.
• Drive efficiency in Accounts Receivable, new customer on-boarding, collections, and bank reconciliations.

Reporting Month End

• Support Management with Accounts Payable reports and assist in monthly financial reporting.
• Monitor key metrics and conduct reconciliations for AP payments GL Ledger.

• Great attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong experience working with inside IT
