ERM is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner/ Consultant to be based in our Sydney or Newcastle office, to lead major projects approvals and environmental impact assessment processes, with a focus on renewables and major infrastructure projects. As a Senior Environmental Planner/Consultant, your leadership, client relationship, and technical consulting skills will support the growth of ERM’s business and client base. You will have access to ERM’s global Impact Assessment Technical Community, sharing multi-disciplinary resources and best practices across the industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional looking to advance their career level with a global environmental leader on both local and international projects.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental impact assessment projects and complex approvals processes.

• Project manage multiple projects within scope and budget and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

• Prepare technical proposals and participate in business development with existing clients.

• Mentor junior and mid-level consulting staff to develop their skill sets in the environmental impact assessments and approvals.

• Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar.

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in statutory planning and/or environmental approvals.

• Familiarity with Commonwealth and NSW environmental legislation and their application to facilitate the delivery of infrastructure projects.

• Broader experience in legislation of other jurisdictions, environmental management and stakeholder management would be viewed favourably.

• Well-developed team building and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity; and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address client and business needs and challenges.

• Solid experience building sustaining relationships with major clients.

• Excellent writing, communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and people skills.

• Authorisation to work in Australia.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the responsibility for maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel to the required standard as per the hotel’s needs. You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees.

Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to are the following:

• Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel. This includes basic plumbing, air conditioning service and repairs.
• Pool maintenance including use of chemicals and water treatment.
• Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
• Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order.
• Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and perform other maintenance related tasks as required.

• Supporting the day-to-day delivery of appointments
• Responding to and actioning the day-to-day general administrative, scheduling, and booking queries via phone, inbox and online booking system
• Utilizing custom software program to support the delivery of services
• Working with the Customer Relationship Manager to respond to specific Customer requests
• Supporting additional service delivery tasks as required including, invoicing, file preparation, and other administrative tasks as required
• Engagement with Customers, Consultants and Colleagues to ensure outstanding service delivery

The Purpose:

At AP+, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The Accounts Payable department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

This role calls for someone with a keen eye for detail, willing to work independently and with a passion for financial excellence.

You will be responsible for:

• The end to end Accounts payable process
• Coding and matching invoices to Purchase Orders
• Credit card and bank reconciliations
• Supplier & internal query resolution
• Assist with month-end procedures
• Monitoring Finance mailbox

In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have:

• 2+ years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Experience with credit card and bank reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Previous experience with NetSuite desired but not essential
