This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and manoeuvring of general freight, ensuring all loads are secured and restrained correctly. Culture and Benefits Immediate Start Available (preferred) Day shift (8am start) - potential for overtime Full-time Permanent, Monday to Friday All PPE and uniforms provided, including steel cap boots Strong team culture which includes Thursday barbeque Ongoing training and career development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scale Employee Wellness Programs where employee health and wellbeing are put first Car, health, and home insurance discounts to be enjoyed Tasks and Responsibilities Operating a forklift to load and unload freight in a safe and timely manner Processing of various types of freight from beginning to end Secure and restrain all loads in a safe manner as per the load restraint guide Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times Requirements of the role Current Forklift Licence (LF) Preferred experience with general freight or warehousing Ability to take direction from management and supervisors Preferred scanning experience Customer service and communication skills Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values Who is Centurion?
