As a Senior Payroll Officer at Retinue, you will be joining a growing team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse client base. Leveraging your extensive experience in payroll processing, you will ensure that our clients' payroll operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with tax legislation.

You will not be responsible for calculating employee hours, rates of pay or entitlements, which we consider to be employment relations work and outside the scope of our payroll processing service. You will however be responsible for helping our clients make payroll processing less of a burden and making sense of complex ATO/tax obligations.

• Ensure that payroll processing is completed on time, is accurate, and with a focus on providing a hassle-free client experience.

Situated in the Fitzroy Region, near Gogango, Rural Funds Management is operating multiple macadamia orchards in various stages of development. As a result, this has opened roles in our operations team, irrigation team and our development team! Employees can also enjoy complimentary company bus service from designated pick-up locations between Rockhampton and the farms.                                                                                                                                                                         

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Orchard Manager, Irrigation Manager or Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• All aspects of farm work, including land preparation, planting, pruning and slashing
• Contributing to the development and installation of irrigation systems
• Operating and calibrating farming machinery
• Assisting with herbicide and pesticide application
• Contributing to a positive and productive working environment

• A positive, can-do attitude is essential
• You will be flexible, reliable, and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (with potential for Saturday work and paid overtime)
• You will hold a C class drivers’ licence (essential)
• Previous experience working on a farm and operating farm machinery is desirable but not a requirement
• You will be willing to undertake training at our cost to obtain your Chemical Users Certificate and/or other required courses

• An above award hourly rate, based on your skills and experience
• Optional transport available to/from work on a company bus service from designated pick-up locations between Rockhampton and the farms (subject to availability of seats)
• Ongoing training and development opportunities. Traineeships will be considered on a case by case basis
• Salary continuance insurance, life insurance, and annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria

Are you an experienced farm handing seeking your next opportunity? Rural Funds Management has a full-time opportunity for an experienced farm hand to join our operations team as a Leading Hand. As the leading hand, you will work alongside and supervise other team members and enjoy working outdoors, in a friendly and safety conscious team.

Situated in the Fitzroy Region, near Gogango, Rural Funds Management is operating multiple macadamia orchards in various stages of development. This role is based at our established orchard “Riverton”, a 1015ha property, with approximately 359ha planted to Macadamias.

Key Responsibilities

• An above award base rate, of $30.90/hour plus overtime and penalty rates
• Optional transport available to/from work on a company bus service from designated pick-up locations between Rockhampton and the farms (subject to availability of seats)
• Ongoing training and development opportunities
• Salary continuance insurance, life insurance, and annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria)

Your day-to-day.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and affiliate teams to ensure all advertising aligns with compliance standards.
• Review advertising/marketing content across various platforms, providing feedback to ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and relevant gambling regulations before publication.
• Conduct regular reviews of external websites and platforms to verify the publication of advertising/marketing material in line with instructions and requirements.
• Work with the legal team to assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of policies and procedures, ensuring best practices in advertising compliance.
• Respond to regulator requests and assist in addressing customer complaints. Support compliance requirements for Trade Promotion competitions, including the review of terms and conditions.

You're a match if you have…

• Proven experience in a similar compliance role within a highly regulated environment, especially related to advertising or marketing reviews in a retail setting.
• Preferred qualifications in Legal Studies, Compliance, Business, or related fields.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Consumer Law.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, independently, and manage multiple project tasks and demands.
• Strong attention to detail paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a collaborative approach.
