A well established family owned company is seeking a Full Function Accounts Payable person to join their Accounting department in Girraween. We are a progressive growing company and offer a professional fast paced environment and attractive salary package. This is a long term career opportunity.

The responsibilities will include:
*Processing invoices
*Supplier reconciliations
*Managing supplier and internal enquiries
*Ensure accurate and timely coding of invoices
*Ensure internal control within the AP process are adhered to and improved
*Preparing batches for payment
*Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
*Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices
*Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
*Respond to all vendor inquiries
*Assist in weekly and month end closing
*Maintain files and archive documents thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

The successful applicant will have:
*4+ years of Accounts Payable experience
*Experience in Accounts payable procedure related to Imported stock, maintaining Import
stock tracking sheet and other custom and freight related invoices.
*High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
*Proficient in Excel and Word
*Possess strong organizational and time management skills
*Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation
skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
*Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
*Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
*Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
*Ability to speak and write English fluently
*Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
*Own motor vehicle essential

Function/Purpose:

The Executive Chef will manage the kitchen for the operation of all hotel outlets, develop menus and create delectable recipes. The ideal candidate for this position is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about food. Using industry experience and knowledge to optimise operations, mentor & inspire the kitchen team. Controlling and directing the food preparation process to ensure quality, profitability, best practice and safety. Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer. • Ensuring on time payments of all local and overseas creditors within agreed payment cycles and in line with Central Directive (CD)
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation of all Accounts payable Accounts,
• Prepare Accounts payable management (APM) report to ensure correct cut off of payables at year end, ensure vendors with debit balances and Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GRIR) accounts are reclassified to AR and inventory
• Ensuring CD invoice verification is adhered to, and local procedure is updated
• Ensuring mitigation controls for I2P are in place, efficient and effective
• Providing internal and external customer service for accounts payable enquiries & audit support
• Ensuring payment terms are in line with CD and purchasing organisations, take appropriate action to reduce risk of fraud
• Supporting maintenance of vendor accounts with current balance and review duplicate vendors on a quarterly basis
