The BA Manager role is a highly specialised position, central to the implementation of projects. The role has the responsibility for stakeholder management and requires collaboration and liaison with customers and business teams across all business units, technology and product teams for new and existing client projects.
In this role the individual will be required to provide support to business mapping, including interpretation and negotiation, facilitate sprint planning, scrum meetings, retrospective sessions, estimations and demos.
The individual should have strong managerial skills in organisation, planning and prioritisation, with the ability to identify key risks and dependencies and escalate these in a timely manner. The BA Manager will create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Release notes and other project related docs.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Stakeholder Management, Business Analysis, Fit-Gap Analysis, Project & Resource Management, Functional Solutioning, Prioritisation and Estimation, Business Development and Technology Solution
Service Delivery:
- Accountable for identifying and gathering requirements, documentation, delivery plans and timeline handling
- Review and execution of test cases
- Provide walkthroughs and status updates to business teams to facilitate planning and prioritisation
- Provide support to business mapping of requirements to fit-gap into product Out-of-Box features – which includes interpretation and negotiation with both business and technology teams.
What you bring to the role/experience:
- Experience in insurance, leading and implementing medium to large size projects
- Experience managing external stakeholders and business teams/units
- Ability to identify requirements and ensure the outcome meets the business objective, with the ability to conduct regular reviews and identify risks and adjust planning and prioritisation accordingly to ensure a solution/resolution is achieved
- Professional and approachable team-player with the ability to develop high-trust relationships with colleagues, customers, prospects, and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds (across multiple different countries)
- Experience with the insurance industry, technology, third-party services such as Steadfast SCTP, Grappler, Guidewire.
