What you will be doing

As the leader of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for all kitchen operations in the hotel and will be working closely with the Food & Beverage and Sales & Conferencing teams.  You will have the opportunity to share ideas, introduce new processes and develop your management skills within a supportive leadership team. This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef, ideally with hotel experience. We are offering a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $95,000 depending on your skills and experience.

Key duties include:

• Running the kitchen on a day-to-day basis with hands-on cooking and food preparation intrinsic to the role
• Developing and mentoring a small team of chefs at various stages of their careers and always acting as a role model
• Menu planning and costing - we change our a la carte menus seasonally and your creativity will be important to the success of our menus
• Liaising with our sales and food & beverage managers to maintain and enhance service and product standards
• Rostering staff and controlling labour costs
• Maintaining safe workplace and food safety standards to a high level
• Monitoring cleaning schedules and chemical control
• Ordering and controlling stock and managing suppliers and invoices

About the Role:

We are excited to be working with Nespresso, a leader in the realm of coffee and celebrated for its pioneering innovation, superior quality, and convenience for users.

The primary focus of this team is to engage key stakeholders including (but not limited to) regional area managers, store managers, store staff and customers, demonstrate the features and benefits of Nespresso products. 

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Territory Manager to join the team at Creative Activation. Representing the brand in a range of machine retailers, you will be responsible for driving product sales and creating brand advocacy amongst staff and customers.

• Full Time
• Days: 4 weekdays & 1 weekend day per week
• Fixed Term: September 2024 to December 2024 (potential to extend contract)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Drive sales and brand engagement

• Proven ‘people person’ that thrives on delivering exceptional service and results in a positive outcome for the customer, retail partner and client.
• Strong understanding of the ‘Sales Process’ and how to convert customer conversations into sales.
• Brand Rep or Electrical Retailer experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all commercial matters related to your assigned client base.
• Ensure all whitespace, re-signs, risks, and outputs of the technology roadmaps are captured and maintained as Opportunities within the CRM. 
• Provide quotations to customers
• Look after the ongoing retention of customers by negotiating contract resigns prior to their current contracts expiring. 
• Ensure re-sign engagement is occurring with appropriate lead-up time to the existing contract end date.
• Maintain customer billing by regularly reviewing and auditing customer invoices in collaboration with the assigned Service Delivery Team. 
• Develop deep, trusted advisor relationships across multiple levels of client stakeholders and executive sponsors within your accounts

• Extensive customer experience in IT technology, MSP or related industry.
• Previous experience working as a Customer Success or Account Manager. 
• You have a keen interest in technology and can conceptualise consumption models. 
• High attention to detail and commercial acumen. 
• Dedicated and able to work to deadlines.
