Innovative Plastic Solutions began life in Australia as Venture when it acquired an automotive plastics manufacturing plant based in Campbellfield.

With the eventual decline of the automotive manufacturing industry in Australia, Venture Australia was reborn as Innovative Plastic Solutions. This rebirth allowed IPS to reset and refocus on a broader range of industries.

All manufacturing has been consolidated to our 26,000m² factory creating a one stop shop for design, engineering and manufacturing specialising in plastics.

We are searching for an experienced Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join our team.

Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Developing and implementing production plans according to business and market demands.
- Managing human and material resources to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Coordinating and supervising staff activities, reviewing performance, and initiating corrective actions as required.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Assessing and improving operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission.
- Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
- Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.
- Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and infrastructure to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.
- Monitoring production to resolve issues promptly and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate channels.
- Implementing cost control measures to reduce operational and production expenses.
- Adapting resource allocation based on production schedules and shifts.
- Ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality.

To be considered you will need:
- A relevant qualification and at least 3 years of related employment experience, OR;
- At least 5 years of work experience relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A competitive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate.
